Petronas recognizes Bently Nevada for Remote training with “New Ways of Working” award
The Bently Nevada services team organized the remote Applied Diagnostics Workshop (ADW) session in early fourth quarter after the earlier face-to-face System 1† for Turbomachinery and Machinery Diagnostics training sessions in this year for Petronas Gas Berhad, Malaysia’s national oil company. Petronas has over a thousand critical assets monitored by Bently Nevada’s solutions in hardware, software and services.
These trainings are part of the Petronas’ Remote Diagnostic Centre project deliverables.
The ADW training was initially scheduled to be at Bently Nevada local training centre in Kuala Lumpur but due to the current global COVID pandemic scenario, Petronas agreed to adapt the format to remote session after several discussion and demonstration on the remote training approach. The presenters hosted on-line presentations from their home office with the help of digital platforms.
Bently Nevada Services trainings are focused on enhancing the participants’ diagnostics capabilities as well as their navigation within Bently Nevada software. The remote ADW session was successfully executed and Bently Nevada received the Focus Recognition award from Petronas. “On behalf of PGB participants, I would like to give this focus recognition to your team on the successful training delivery under New Ways of Working (NWoW). The content and hands on training during the sessions were really helpful to sharpen our diagnostic skills”, wrote M Dasuki, Rotating Equipment Engineer from the Gas Processing & Utility Division.
