Tell me about your role as a Senior Customer Experience Engineer.
  • At its core, my vision in this role is to build and improve our relationship with our customers, to strengthen the Druck brand and reputation. By using voice of customer (VOC), I hope to design reliable calibration equipment that is built to last and perform at the highest standard for our end users.

 

Why is maintaining a "customer first" focus is important for Druck customers
  • Prioritising customer needs and experiences leads to higher levels of satisfaction, which in turn fosters loyalty and encourages repeat business. In a market as competitive as the pressure calibrator industry, the quality of the product matters. Our customers expect a product that works and can last a long time. Druck is uniquely positioned as the only business to design and manufacture our products totally in-house, as well as offering repair and calibration services.
  • Having a “customer first” approach helps differentiate Druck in the market. Customer engagement and utilisation of direct feedback helps us to identify aeras for improvement, leading to better quality, fit-for-purpose products and services.
  • Finally, prioristing our customers helps to build trust and maintain strong relationships that ensures our end-users can use their “Druck” long-term.

 

Explain what implementing a preventive maintenance approach means to you?
  • A preventative maintenance strategy means taking a proactive and controlled approach to care, servicing and maintenance of valuable operating assets to prevent any minor or major issues before they occur.
  • This involves collaboration between Druck’s engineering teams, Product Management and Services to ensure our customers minimise downtime and prologue the lifespan of their Druck equipment.

 

What does preventative maintenance mean to a Druck customer?
  • As a customer, this means planned and reduced downtime of equipment/systems that can easily translate to significant cost and time savings. Regularly maintained equipment improves the efficiency and lifespan of their product and more critically, helps to meet the safety expectations of their system. Efficiency, Safety and Reliability.

 

How does preventative maintenance relate to the "customer first" focus?
  • By keeping our customer’s equipment reliable and efficient, it encourages smooth operation by preventing disruptions in their process as well as helping to sure equipment is safe and compliant with their regulations. Providing preventive maintenance that is tailored to specific customer needs and products, organically enhances customer focus and builds trust and reliability. Peace of mind that customers feel from having safely maintained leads to greater customer satisfaction.
