Overview
Many supposedly retrievable packers can become permanently set in high-pressure/high-temperature (HP/HT) wells, forcing you to spend unnecessary time and money for milling and fishing operations. Our BASTILLE™ ultra-HP/HT removable production packer provides reliable, gas-tight isolation in high-pressure, high-temperature (HP/HT) wells, and disengages from the casing when released to enable easy removal. Capable of providing a V0-rated seal in temperatures up to 450°F (232°C) at 20,000 psi (1379 bar) as well as withstanding differential temperature up to 250°F (121°C), the BASTILLE packer is the first production packer designed to be fully removed after being deployed in harsh ultra-HP/HT conditions.
Based on the legacy Premier™ packer series, the BASTILLE ultra-HP/HT removable packer is part of our newly expanded packer portfolio. The BASTILLE packer can be supplied as a hydraulic-set packer or as a hydrostatic-set packer by incorporating our field-proven Striker system. The Striker system provides interventionless actuation of the packer by generating a packer setting force from hydrostatic well pressure. As a contingency, the BASTILLE with Striker can still be set hydraulically.
