Joe Scherer

Joseph Scherer has been leading GreenFire Energy as the CEO for the last 7 years. He is an experienced attorney of 33 years in project financing and was the head of the Credit Finance practice at Cooley LLP. His financing experience includes a wide range of emerging and established companies and their financing sources from venture capitalists to money center banks.

Scherer received a J.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles, School of Law and an MBA from UCLA's Anderson Graduate School of Management. He has a BA in Economics from the University of California, Davis.
