Continuously Better?

Statoil had many successful product development projects in 2017, perhaps in part because of its continual evaluation of its own ability to improve.

Mr. Rød said there are five ingredients to ensure change and improvement for a more competitive industry: acknowledgement of and focus on what you can impact; ensuring a focus on totality: from energy source (reservoir, wind, etc.) to consumer; having the commitment to set and meet tough targets; promoting engagement (internally and across the industry) to create a snowball effect; and finally collaborating with greater transparency.

Continuously Better?

What we do and how we do it is getting increasingly important. Safety and sustainability is priority #1 and the license to operate. It has to include human rights and ethical code of conduct.
