A digital twin is a digital representation of a physical asset in which you use the data from the asset combined with advanced analytics to drive a business outcome. The twin is always seeing, thinking and doing. Across all our GE businesses we have deployed 661,000 twins, generating over $300M. When you think about business value, it’s different for each one of us so we need many different twins. Then we bring all of the twins together in Predix and APM to drive the results we need.
