Overview
Inflow control devices (ICDs) can also be used for outflow control to balance or equalize fluid injection into the reservoir. Water injection and steam injection are the most common applications of this type, however, Baker Hughes offers several devices designed for niche applications such as enhancing the performance of injection wells, or improving chemical treatments through fluid injection.
We also offer several autonomous ICDs featuring injection valves that prevent fluid injection into the reservoir while performing chemical treatments, or for improved well control.
