Overview

With the deepwater horizontal tree (DHXT) system from Baker Hughes, you get assured reservoir management and hydrocarbon recovery in one efficient package. Building on 35 years of experience supplying more than 700 subsea horizontal trees to customers around the globe, the DHXT is a proven choice for production or injection applications.

The DHXT is highly configurable, with choices of flow control modules that can recover several key components in a single intervention event. Individual retrievable items can be used when life-of-field interventions are less frequent.

The DHXT system is arranged in a 5-in. nominal size and has tubing hanger configurability to address a wide range of downhole functions, including well safety valves, chemical injection, intelligent completions, and electric/fiber optics. These features add further functional flexibility to improve well performance.

Engineered for up to 10,000 psi, water depths of 10,000 ft (3,048 m), and a standard operating temperature range of 0°F to 300°F (-18°C to 149°C), the system includes the VG300 valve technology and the widely used DW-HTH4 connector. These critical pieces of technology provide a working bending capacity of up to 5.25 million ft-lb and high fatigue resistance for improved safety and reliability when operating from dynamic positioning (DP) vessels in deepwater.

Contact Baker Hughes today to learn how our deepwater horizontal tree systems can help you optimize production and reservoir management in the deepest and most remote offshore environments.
