Making fractures more efficient is a perennial concern. One of the longstanding challenges has been keeping the fractures open over time and increasing hydrocarbon flow through existing fracture networks.
Unlike conventional proppant which inhibits fluid-flow, NeutraProp™ lightweight ceramic (LWC) neutral-wettability proppant is a surface-modified material that enables fluids to flow freely through the pore spaces in a proppant pack. It is neither oil-wet nor water-wet and eliminates the buildup of fluid residues, letting more hydrocarbons flow out of the reservoir—at improved rates.
It is available in multiple substrate mesh sizes and can be formulated for different strengths, depending on application.
